Cherry Blonde is the stage name of Ari Eisenberg, an alternative pop artist originally from Napa, California. After making a name for himself as the charismatic frontman of the genre-bending college band Honeyboys, Ari ventured out as “Cherry Blonde” in 2024 to pursue his solo vision. Cherry Blonde’s music fuses indie pop, funk, and retro-inspired sounds – imagine funky bass grooves and nostalgic synths under smooth, soulful vocals. His songwriting often carries an upbeat, quirky energy (e.g. the cat-themed single “kitty kitty” and the tongue-in-cheek FREAKFUNK EP) while still delivering relatable lyrics about love and life’s ups and downs.
Now based in California, Cherry Blonde writes and produces all his songs. As a multi-instrumentalist and producer, he crafts tracks that showcase playful experimentalism with mass appeal. One moment he’s crooning an R&B-tinged melody, and the next he’s dropping a danceable electronic break – a reflection of his “listen to everything” philosophy developed during his time in the San Luis Obispo music scene. Fans of artists like Dominic Fike or BENEE would appreciate Cherry Blonde’s eclectic “progressive pop” style. Despite launching recently, Cherry Blonde has built a modest but dedicated fanbase (over 20k Instagram followers and growing) drawn to his authentic DIY spirit and engaging personality.

Upcoming Projects & Shows – 2025
New Music: Cherry Blonde is actively teasing new material, including the unreleased track “The Spot” and “Through With Love (Not That Dumb),” both previewed during recent live performances. He’s hinted at a possible second EP or album, having revealed on Instagram that he’s testing “four or five” new songs during shows. Fans can expect multiple single releases throughout 2025, continuing the narrative built in his FREAKFUNK EP.
Live Performances: In Spring 2025, Cherry Blonde completed a West Coast mini-tour, performing in intimate house shows and small venues across California and Nevada. Stops included Seaside, San Luis Obispo, Santa Cruz, Ventura, Los Angeles (Harvard & Stone), Orange County, Davis, and Reno. An LA show is also planned for May 31, 2025, where new music is expected to debut.
Events & Festivals: While no major festival dates are confirmed, Cherry Blonde remains active in LA’s indie circuit and has been featured by artist-led promoters like Third Eye Shut. Given his past BottleRock appearance and genre appeal, he is a likely candidate for future indie festival bookings.
Collaborations & Merch: Though he currently performs solo, his 2025 tour was co-organized with fellow indie acts like Lo and Will Chant. Cherry Blonde also launched official merch this year, building deeper fan engagement with “the Blondies” community. Brand or music partnerships may emerge as his profile continues to rise.
